How Do I Apply To College
-
Colleges and universities want you to apply online
-
You may go directly to the college's Admissions website and apply, or you can use CFNC.org to apply
-
You may want to consider applying through the Common Application website. This online site allows you to apply to many colleges found in different states by filling out one application. The website will request your transcript.
-
The Universal College Application (UCA) is a new website (similar to the Common App) that allows you to apply to more than one college at once. Learn the differences between the Common App and the UCA here.
College Visits
Campus visits allow students and parents to get a feel for the atmosphere of a college and tour campus, meet with faculty and students, learn about what the college has to offer and sometimes sit in on a class. The American College Foundation's website provides great information on things to consider when planning a college visit. Check out their website Here.
